Located just outside Birmingham, the suburb of Mountain Brook is known statewide for its abundance of luxury residences, upscale shopping options, and historic landmarks. It’s also the most affluent city in Alabama, a key factor behind its nickname: Tiny Kingdom.

Home to over 20,000 residents, Mountain Brook was originally developed by real estate businessman Robert Jemison, Jr. in 1929. • Jemison Park – Covering 54 acres, Jemison Park is a popular spot for walking, jogging, fishing, and rafting. Given the biodiversity in the area, spotting wildlife such as owls, hawks, raccoons, and foxes are to be expected when taking a stroll in this part of the neighborhood. Aside from its well-maintained trails, Jemison Park also has other features, including dog stations, benches, picnic tables, and parking spots.
